Studio Editions STATEMENT
Petrolsen Studio is built around two connected practices.
Studio Editions grows from the foundation of the Fine Art Practice. While the exhibition work represents the core artistic research, conceptual development, and long-term inquiry of the studio, Studio Editions offers a more open and accessible entry point into the practice.
This space brings together selected editions, prints, publications, and studio works, while also sharing glimpses of the creative process behind the scenes. It is where ideas evolve, experiments unfold, and new directions emerge. Studio Editions celebrates not only finished works, but the ongoing journey of making, exploring, and learning.
The intention is to create a closer connection between artist and audience—inviting collectors, supporters, and curious visitors into the broader life of the studio. Through these works, the practice extends beyond exhibitions and into everyday spaces, making it possible to engage with the art in different ways and at different stages of its development.
As the studio continues to grow, visitors are warmly invited to take part in that development. Feedback, interests, and suggestions are always welcome, helping to shape future editions, products, and offerings.
